Guido Romeo


Guido, journalist and author, deals with systems of innovation, digital economy, journalism and information transparency.

He chairs Facta, a non-profit center applying scientific methods to journalism.

He has received awards in Italy and abroad and carries out research and surveys of data journalism and writes for Il Sole 24 Ore for which he has co-edited the contents of two editions of Open Innovation Days.

He is the author of "Silenzi di Stato, storie di trasparenza negata e di cittadini che non si arrendono" (Chiarelettere 2016) and co-author of "Per soli uomini. Il maschilismo dei dati, dalla ricerca scientifica al desing" (Codice, 2021). He is a lecturer in data journalism, digital journalism and access to information at the IULM University, at the Sole24Ore Business School, at SISSA - International Advanced School of Advanced Studies in Trieste, and in courses recognized by the Italian Journalists Association.

He was economy and data editor for Wired Italy, participating in the organization of two editions of the Wired Next Fest.
